Junior Election Meeting - Sunday 12 August 4pm Bulli Surf Club

JUNIOR ACTIVITIES ELECTION MEETING  SUNDAY 12 AUGUST 4PM AT BULLI SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB

Dear Members

This important meeting is scheduled for Sunday 12 August 4pm in the club rooms at Bulli Surf Life Saving Club. Please take the time to read this email as season 2018-2019 is fast approaching and we as a club pride ourselves as being a very well structured organisation leading into each season. 

The Junior Activities Section is known as Bulli Surf Life Saving Club Junior Activities and is a sub committee of of Bulli Surf Life Saving. The Junior Activities Committee through their Chairperson report to our Board of Directors.

The Board shall ensure that all aspects of Bulli Surf Life Saving Club Junior Activities including administration and duties of officers are in accordance with the Rules Regulations and Policies of the Club Surf Life Saving Illawarra, Surf Life Saving NSW and Surf Life Saving Australia.

The Junior Activities committee shall be responsible for the conduct and co-ordination of all matters relating to Junior Activities and provide Junior Activity members with an educational and teaching experience in a wide range of skills within the aquatic environment and to prepare Junior Activity members for their eventual transition to the patrol involvement of surf lifesaving.

The Junior Activities committee consist of

Junior Activities Chairperson 

Junior Activities Deputy Chairperson

Junior Activities Administration Officer/Secretary

Junior Activities Finance Officer/Treasurer

Junior Activities Member Services Officer/Registrar

Junior Activities Lifesaving Officer/Club Captain

Junior Activities Assistant Lifesaving Officer/Deputy Club Captain

Junior Activities Education Officer 

Junior Activities Surf Sports Administration Officer/Junior Competition Secretary

Of course there are other important roles that need to be filled as well including BBQ Coordinator Gear Stewards and Clothing Officer.

As the season progresses Age Managers & Water Safety personnel are also required to make sure that activities undertaken have quality control and safety for our kids participating.

So please have a think about how you can assist the club for this coming season you don't have to have kids involved to take on any role within the club. These roles & responsibilities are required to be filled to make sure that the junior activities section runs smoothly.  

If you feel that you could assist the junior activities section in a role & not sure what you need to do please don't hesitate to contact either one of us below to answer any of your questions.

Once you have decided to take on a role your nomination needs to be in writing as an email to Paul Hennessy our Director of Administration hennessys@tpg.com.au. If there are no nominations in writing at the meeting nominations can come from the floor of members in attendance at the meeting.
