REGISTRATION INFORMATION

SELECTING THE RIGHT AGE GROUP FOR NIPPERS
- Age groups for Bulli Nippers are set by SLSA and remain a minimum age of 5 years (U6) up to a maximum age of 13 years (U14) on a seasonal basis.
- The age group is determined by the nippers’ age at midnight on the 30th September each year.
- Please note : Proof of age/birth certificate must be shown for all new children joining a Surf Club or for any child that has not produced a birth certificate..

AGE GROUPS FOR 2024-2025 SEASON

Age Group U6 - Born 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019

Age Group U7 – Born 1 October 2017 to 30 September 2018

Age Group U8 – Born 1 October 2016 to 30 September 2017

Age Group U9 – Born 1 October 2015 to 30 September 2016

Age Group U10 – Born 1 October 2014 to 30 September 2015

Age Group U11 - Born 1 October 2013 to 30 September 2014

Age Group U12 - Born 1 October 2012 to 30 September 2013

Age Group U13 – Born 1 October 2011 to 30 September 2012

Age Group U14 - Born 1 October 2010 to 30 September 2011

All Nippers must be registered with Bulli SLSC prior to participating at Nippers or any associated events eg board training. Please note children must have obtained the age of 5 years by 30 September of the current season before they can become a Nipper member. However, a child may commence after they have attained the age of 5 years but under SLSA requirements must stay in the U6s age group for the following year.

Bulli SLSC requires that at least one parent or guardian join as a "General" member with all Nipper members.

1. HOW TO REGISTER

Children and parents need to register.

New members - Online registration and payment go to https://sls.com.au/join/ Fill in required details for your child/children and, at least, one parent - please make payment before logging out.

Please Note: All new members must show identification - either their birth certificate/passport/licence - PLEASE FORWARD A COPY TO bullisurfclub@gmail.com

Existing Members - Online registration and payment go to https://members.sls.com.au
Check your contact details ( particularly email addresses and phone numbers) are correct, renew membership and make payment.

If you and/or your child/ren have been a member of a SLS Club previously, please go to https://members.sls.com.au - initiate a transfer to Bulli SLSC and make payment.

2. PAY MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN BEFORE YOU LOG OUT OF THE MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM.

Nipper Children (5-14yrs) - $70

General (Nipper Parent/Guardian) - $60

Family Membership - $240 (2 adults & 2 children under 18) and $30 each child thereafter.

Bulli SLSC is a NSW Active Kids Provider - as of 1 July 2023, Active Kids Voucher is worth $50 which can be redeemed towards your child’s membership.

Please have your child/childrens vouchers ready to redeem during the payment process.

Please enter $50 for the amount of each child’s voucher. Active Kids Vouchers can not be used with Family Membership (NSW Government regulation)

3. COMPLETE A POOL AND SURF COMPETENCY EVALUATION FOR ALL NIPPERS U6 TO U14 - Thank you to Northern Stars Swim School for allowing us to use their facilities to conduct our Pool Evaluation Swims.

Please make yourself available to attend one of our Pool Evaluation days.

SURF COMPETENCY EVALUATION TO BE DONE AT BULLI BEACH ONCE NIPPERS HAS COMMENCED

2024-25 Proficiency requirements: Click here to see what each age group needs to do for Pool and Competition Evaluation. If a child can not complete the Pool Evaluation, they can still join nippers, we are just required to have additional water safety.

4. PURCHASE THE REQUIRED SAFETY CLOTHING AND OTHER CLUB APPAREL
There are 2 mandatory items that you will need to purchase:
- Pink high visibility singlet
- Bulli club cap and/or Age Group colour cap
