BEACH AND SURF SAFETY
Bulli Beach is located in the Illawarra just over 1 hour drive south of Sydney Airport and about 12 km north of Wollongong. With almost 1km in length it is a fantastic place to spend time. Adjacent facilities like Bulli Beach Tourist Park, Bulli Beach Reserve, Bulli Rock Pool and Bulli Beach Café offer something for everyone. Visiting Bulli Beach is great fun, but – first and foremost – it should be safe.
To make your visit memorable and safe please make sure you familiarise yourself with some aspects to look out for, especially around Rip Currents, Marine Creatures and Rock Fishing.
If your – or one of your friend’s – first language is not English there are general beach safety messages available in some other languages.
There is also comprehensive additional beach safety information and tips available.
Once you are at the beach please observe and follow the safety signs that are erected to provide you with important safety information.
