• Nippers Skills Evaluation and Uniform Pop Up Store - Saturday 20 September 2025 from 1230pm to 230pm at Northern Star Swim School, 9 Watts Lane, Russell Vale (In Bunnings carpark)

Registration and Eligibility

It is club policy for at least one parent/guardian to join our club with their children. As we are all volunteers, we need help from all families to run a successful program - go to Volunteers to see how you can help!

New members - Online registration and payment go to SLSA Members Hub If joining a child/children for Junior Activities, it is club policy for at least one parent/guardian to join as well. Fill in required details for one parent/guardian then add child/children and/or other parent/guardian - please make payment before logging out. For help with signing up as new member go to New Member.

If you and/or your child/ren have been a member of a SLS Club previously and wish to now join Bulli SLSC, please go to SLSA Members Hub - There has been an upgrade to the Members Area so will look different from last year. You will need to change your password and verify your account. Once you have logged in, initiate a transfer to Bulli SLSC and make payment.

Existing Members - Online registration and payment go to SLSA Members Hub - There has been an upgrade to the Members Area so will look different from last year. You will need to change your password and verify your account. Click on Family Group and Renew. If you do not have a family group, go to More (along top of page) Membership - Family Group and create family group
Check your contact details ( particularly email addresses and phone numbers) are correct, renew membership and make payment.

2. MEMBERSHIP FEES

• Nipper Children (5-14yrs) - $70 (free of charge for 13/14 yr olds with SRC committed to patrol - must renew membership details)

  (if using Active Kids Voucher, select that option, pay $20 per child and forward voucher to bullisurfclub@gmail.com)

• General (Nipper Parent/Guardian) - $70 (Club rule is that at least one parent/guardian must be a member)

OR

• Family Membership - $240 (2 adults & 2 children under 18) and $30 each child thereafter. (cannot use Active Kids voucher on family memberships)

Bulli SLSC is a NSW Active Kids Provider - as of 1 January 2024, Active Kids Voucher is worth $50 which can be redeemed towards your child’s membership.

Please email your Active Kids vouchers to bullisurfclub@gmail.com at time of joining/renewing membership - membership will NOT be processed until full payment has been made.

AGE GROUPS FOR NIPPERS
- Age groups for Bulli Nippers are set by SLSA and remain a minimum age of 5 years (U6) up to a maximum age of 13 years (U14) on a seasonal basis. A child may join as soon as they turn 5 (even after 1 October) - if this is the case, they do stay in U6 group for the following season.
- The age group is determined by the nippers’ age at midnight on 30th September each year.

AGE GROUPS FOR 2025-2026 SEASON

Age Group U6 - Born 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020

Age Group U7 - Born 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019

Age Group U8 – Born 1 October 2017 to 30 September 2018

Age Group U9 – Born 1 October 2016 to 30 September 2017

Age Group U10 – Born 1 October 2015 to 30 September 2016

Age Group U11 – Born 1 October 2014 to 30 September 2015

Age Group U12 - Born 1 October 2013 to 30 September 2014

Age Group U13 - Born 1 October 2012 to 30 September 2013

Age Group U14 – Born 1 October 2011 to 30 September 2012

All Nippers must be registered with Bulli SLSC prior to participating at Nippers or any associated events eg board training.

Bulli SLSC requires that at least one parent or guardian join as a "General" member with all Nipper members.

3. COMPLETE A POOL AND SURF COMPETENCY EVALUATION FOR ALL NIPPERS U6 TO U14 -

Please make yourself available to attend one of our Pool Evaluation days.

SURF COMPETENCY EVALUATION TO BE DONE AT BULLI BEACH ONCE NIPPERS HAS COMMENCED

2025-26 Proficiency requirements: Click here to see what each age group needs to do for Pool and Competition Evaluation. If a child can not complete the Pool Evaluation, they can still join nippers, we are just required to have additional water safety.

4. PURCHASE THE REQUIRED SAFETY CLOTHING AND OTHER CLUB APPAREL
There are 2 mandatory items that you will need to purchase:
- Pink high visibility singlet
- Bulli club cap and/or Age Group colour cap
