Lachlan O'Grady & Hannah Minogue on the Gold Coast this week doing the KNG Trial

Lachlan O'Grady one of the club's young up and coming surf sports stars & Hannah Minogue our NSW Female Ski Champ & Iron-woman will be on the Gold Coast this weekend for the 2012/13 Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Series trials. The trials will be held on the 15-16 September at Tugun Beach in Queensland.

Lachlan is first year U19 & Hannah is our lone Open Female rep, both will be racing a host of rising stars plus some estbalished stars trying to have the opportunity to join the likes of Shannon Eckstein, Ky Hurst, Courtney Hancock and Kristyl Smith in the iconic Series. Lachlan has been training hard over the winter months with another member of our club Beau Wheeler & Ben Carberry (Warilla Barrack Point SLSC). Unfortunately Beau has a few injury concerns and has decided to pull out of the trials.

Hannah has spent most of the winter months on the Sunshine Coast training under Michael King at Mooloolaba and should be ripped & ready to go.
