Thank you to our members

Massive thanks needs to be extended to all of our members that assisted with the running of the 2nd round of the Sydney Water Series on Saturday 9 November.

It was a great team effort with our carnival organisers, mainly the big 3 as in Sean Taylor, Stuart Brown  & Scott Gordon working through logistics a couple of week's prior to the event. Special mention of Debbie Brown collecting drinks & food for the officials in 35 degree heat on the Friday.

There are too many members to name indivdually, but to those that made themselves available from 5am on the day of the carnival until 5pm when everything was packed up, well done!

From our valued members & supporters who worked the BBQ tirelessly, parking officers, assisted with carnival arena setup & pull-down, patrol duties & first aid, water safety in the morning for the nippers and then IRB & Jet Ski duty in the afternoon, our club officials that assisting in the running of the carnival, members delivering drink & food for those important officials...and many more roles that always come hand in hand when running surf carnivals. 

Everybody that assisted, your role whether small or large, 10 minutes or 2 hours was greatly apreciated.

To the Illawarra clubs that also assisted with IRB's, Surf Life Saving Illawarra with jet skis made available for water safety. Thanks to Dave Greene (Surf Life Saving Illawara Surf Sports Director) & the Sydney Water Commitee for allowing the club to host this event.
