Club wins 6 medals at Aussies

Congratulations to our members that won medals on the Gold Coast at last week's 2013 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships.

Great weather for the 7 days with fine sunny conditions and small challenging surf.

Penny Locke won 2 medals in the Female Masters 40-44yrs Surf (3rd) & Ski (2nd). Her husband Micheal Locke then teamed with Ian Timbrell and placed 2nd in the Male Masters 40-44yrs Double Ski.

Hannah Minogue got a bronze medal (3rd) in the Open Female Board & Lachlan O'Grady won bronze (3rd) in the Under 19 Men's Surf.

Gold medallist & Australian Champions went to our Under 19 Men's Boat crew of Shane Geloven (sweep), Albert Smeaton, Iszak Lunney, Kyle Mercer & Toby Allnutt who put in a power performance of boat rowing over the weekend to be crowned undisputed champions!
